But the X-Compact has a 3.6" barrel and shorter slide, so the X-Carry module would stick out a fair bit below the slide trying to use it with an X-Compact.

It was a little confusing at first. X-Carry is a compact slide/barrel on an X-carry module. And the X-Compact is a sub-compact slide/barrel on a X-compact chassis. At least this is my understanding. I too run a P320 Carry (compact slide) in a kydex IWB holster. I frequently switch over to the compact grip module depending on what I'm wearing that day. There are absolutely no problems switching between the two different sized grip modules. To sum it up for ya; if the holster fits the compact it's gonna fit the carry like a glove.I owned a 320 with a Wilson Combat grip module for a while, admittedly loved it. I carry a Shadow Systems DR 920 and sold the Sig. While the Sig was a nice platform the Shadow is a Glock platform that has been enhanced. It shoots markedly better in every way for me.
